Lynnea 5 Months!

Love my girl!  5 months already!  I saw a 1 week old this week and couldn't believe the size difference.  I knew she had grown but didn't realize how much!  At first I was really sad but then one smile and one laugh and I would never go back.  She has become so personable.  She is such a happy baby.  Smiles and laughs all the time!  She always smiles and laughs whenever we tickle or kiss her neck.  She loves it when we wiggle her arms and legs and for some reason this one noise (chiga chiga chiga) we make never fails to make her laugh!  She is very active and loves kicking her legs and playing with toys.  She definitely loves her toys!

Love this picture.  An example of those legs in the air!

The Last Room Renovation!!!!

I put a lot of exclamation points like I am excited that the last room project is finished but really I am sad. I have really enjoyed fixing up this house and I will probably never get another chance like this. But hopefully we will sell this house pretty quickly and move on to the next phase of our lives!

I am so upset that I don't have a good before picture of this room. Not sure how that happened! Grrr... This is the only before picture I have. You can at least see the awful wall paper and the baby blue tile. As in the other bathrooms, it wasn't in the budget to re-tile the entire shower so I had to work around what I had. The other bathrooms it wasn't too hard, this one was! The floor and counter top was also the baby blue tile and the sinks were corroded and nasty! (Oh and the whole renovation cost only $500!!!)

I used a mosaic tile that had the baby blue tile in it as well as another blue and a grey to help tie in the blue. I then used a gray tile as my main tile. I took down the big mirror that was on the wall and used two small mirrors I already had and just put a frame on them. I was able to reuse the cabinet (thank you, thank you dad for not tearing that up in the demolition phase!) but everything else you see is new.

Here is a good picture where you can see I left the baseboard tile that matches the shower tile and then added the mosaic to try and tie it in.

Easter Beauties!

Instead of Easter Bunnies, we have Easter Beauties! Here are my two perfect girls on Easter morning!

Random Pictures

I have several random pictures that I thought I would throw together in one post just for fun! We have been working hard to get our house ready to put on the market and in cleaning out Lynnea's closet we ran across their Christmas hats. This was the day before Easter and so Anara decided that they had to wear their Christmas hats so that the Easter Bunny could find them!

Anara has her first dance recital coming up! We are both so excited! They received their costumes today and wow, it is cute! I couldn't be happier with it! She needs to work on getting her arms straight when she does an arabesque but we are working on it! :)

Here are some random pictures I took of the girls just because I thought they were cute! Love them! We have learned that all Anara needed this whole time was a friend to talk to. Set Lynnea up in the bumbo and wow, built in friend for Anara! The perfect kind of friend because Lynnea lets Anara do all of the talking which is what Anara needs. Just someone to listen to her! :)
