San Antonio House

I finally have the house unpacked and organized enough to take pictures!  Well, one room is still bad but not sure it will ever get organized so I am not going to stress over it.  We are already down to only 10 months left in San Antonio!

Keep in mind when looking at these pictures that the majority of our furniture and decorations went into storage in Tulsa and we only brought the bare necessities with us.  Well...and a few pieces of furniture that didn't fit in the storage unit!

We are very pleased with the rent house.  Especially considering we had not seen it prior to moving in!  I LOVE the high ceilings!  While I truly loved my Tulsa house, I hated the low ceilings.  I always felt claustrophobic.  Not here!   It also had some really great surprises like a huge walk in master closet plus a second closet in the master bedroom.  That is a way to a girls heart right there!

Here is the master bedroom.  Apparently we put the bed rails in storage???  Neither of us remember doing that but we can't find them so I guess they are in Tulsa! 

Love the closet!  Since there are two (the second one is much smaller) I get this whole closet almost completely to myself!

The loft area!  This has been our dumping ground.  Not sure I am going to worry about it.  We won't let the girls into the loft area because the slats that look down into the living room are very spread apart and it would be super easy for the girls to fall through.

The Getter Family!

We decided it was time to have family pictures made!   They had a Groupon for $10 pictures at Target and even though they aren't the most professional pictures, we got a ton of pictures and it barely cost us anything.  Can't complain!

We received printed versions of several others but these are just the three pictures that we got digitally.  I love my family!  So blessed!

River Walk

We are trying to make the most of our time while here in San Antonio so we hit up the River Walk for dinner.  It was warm (but of course we are in South Texas!) but we had a lot of fun!  Here are a few pictures from our night.

1st Day of Dance Class!

Yay!  Today was Anara's first day of dance class!  She had a great time and was so excited to be back dancing.  (Made her momma proud!)  Of course we had to document the occasion with some pictures. :)

More Sea World Adventures!

We are definitely taking full advantage of having a yearly pass to Sea World!  Here are pictures from our 2nd and 3rd time to go to Sea World and we have actually been a 4th time with my dad as well!  We still haven't even come close to doing everything!  (Probably because we only go for about 2 to 3 hours at a time but that is the way to do it!)

Lynnea 7 Months & 8 Months

This is a little past due considering I am posting both her 7 and 8 month pictures together!  We moved right around her 7 month birthday and then this summer was CRAZY with Crowd Pleasers so I am just now getting a chance to post them. 

She is just one of the greatest babies ever!  How did I end up so lucky having two absolutely fabulous babies!  Lynnea is so happy all the time and if she isn't happy, you always know why.  (She is either hungry, needs a new diaper, or she is bored and needs a new toy.)  You can sit her down with a couple of toys and she can just happily entertain herself for hours!  She is however very stubborn!  She absolutely 100% refuses to take the bottle.  I had to leave for 3 days to go work and my parents kept her and she did not take the bottle that entire time!  Luckily she is now on solids so they were able to get her to take some food but she absolutely refused the bottle.  The funny part is that you would think she would become fussy from not really eating much but the only time she was fussy was when they were trying to stick a bottle in her mouth and she politely let them know she wanted nothing to do with that! 

She is now eating solids but she hasn't taken to it the way Anara did.  Anara loved EVERYTHING.  Lynnea is picky.  Don't even think about giving this child peas!  Yuck!  She does like feeding herself the puffs and mum-mums though.

She is happily saying dada all the time which of course makes her daddy so proud!  She still isn't talking or "babbling" very much but then again, who can get a word in when Anara is in the room!  She absolutely loves the water and bath time is her favorite time of the day.  She could splash in the bathtub for hours!  I have to put towels around the bathtub and me to try and keep things dry.  She also loves to be tickled!  She has the sweetest little laugh.  She loves it when her daddy plays "I'm gonna get you!" with her. 

She has definitely been teething but you can only tell that from the amount of drool that comes out of her.  (Trust me, her entire shirt will be soaking wet!)  She has added 3 (almost 4) top teeth to her two bottom teeth.
